When specifically offered in Account: a card-required 7-day free trial with separate limits. After 7 days, US$25/month before tax renews automatically unless you cancel before its end. Limited to 30 confirmed trial starts; abandoned checkout reservations expire; available places also depend on the service budget.

Know before you join

Your price

Payment is processed by Paddle. The base price is US$25 before tax. Local taxes and currency conversion may change your total. Your billing currency, final total and renewal interval are shown before you pay.

Your membership

The subscription renews monthly until canceled. Cancel through Account → Manage or cancel membership, or the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Saved expressions are retained until you delete them. Viewing and reviewing them in the app requires an active membership.

Your account

Use your own Google account. This is a personal self-study subscription, not a shared classroom account. New memberships may be paused temporarily depending on availability; your Account page shows whether checkout is open. If enrollment closes while your payment is being completed, we will refund that payment in full.

Everyday use, explained

50 new AI generations per member per day, resetting at midnight Japan time (UTC+9), with no carryover. A completed practice set, new AI assessment or new explanation counts once. Dictionary lookup, word splitting, saved items, cached explanations and exercises without AI do not use this allowance.

The daily limit is a maximum, not a promise of 50 available AI actions every day. Personal and service-wide rolling 30-day cost limits also apply, including during ordinary use. AI may pause before the daily limit; longer requests use more of the period allowance. Daily reset does not reset these period limits. Access resumes when enough earlier usage leaves the rolling window, or when a service funding or technical issue is resolved. Fixed lessons, saved items and other non-AI features remain available. Contact support if a pause prevents you from using the service as described; cancellation and refund rights still apply.

100 audio points per member per day, resetting at midnight Japan time with no carryover. Prepared kana character sounds can be replayed without audio points. A newly generated word uses 1 point; sentences and passages use points by length. Replays use no points while the audio remains cached, for up to 30 minutes.

AI allowance and temporary pauses

Internal processing calls are counted separately for costs. Failed generations return the allowance, but repeated failures or simultaneous requests may temporarily pause AI to protect the service. The app shows your remaining allowance and next reset. Reaching the allowance does not stop access to non-AI learning features.

Live lessons, human tutoring and voice conversation are not included. Weekly Study Pack includes one reusable PDF for each completed week, with optional email links enabled in Account. Delivery is paced on Monday and Tuesday (Japan time), subject to service and cost limits. The PDF uses the same shared AI cost pool.

Pronunciation

Microsoft-generated Japanese audio shares 100 audio points per member per day, resetting at midnight Japan time (UTC+9), with no carryover. A new word of up to 20 Japanese characters uses 1 point. Explore passages of up to 800 characters use 1 point per 40 billable characters, rounded up: kanji count twice; spaces, punctuation and escaped special characters count too. Points depend on length, not on the number of plays. The app shows the point estimate before you play. Replaying audio still cached on the same device uses 0 points (up to 30 minutes while the app stays open); closing or reloading the app may require a new generation. Words and passages share the same allowance. Kana character sounds use prepared Microsoft Azure recordings and can be replayed without audio points, including after reloading or reaching the daily allowance. Newly generated kana word audio shares the daily 100 audio points: new audio uses 1 point, and cached replays use 0 points for up to 30 minutes. Kana phrase recordings use VOICEVOX:ずんだもん without audio points. No kana audio is generated automatically. Requests sent for generation count even if playback is interrupted or the result is uncertain. There are no automatic retries. This allowance is separate from the 50 daily new AI generations. Live pronunciation uses Microsoft voices only; the app does not use device voices. Synthetic pronunciation can contain errors.
