Refunds & cancellation

These are the support arrangements for membership purchases processed by Paddle.

Cancel future renewals

Use Account → Manage or cancel membership, or the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your current paid period and prevents the next renewal. Cancellation and a refund request are separate actions. Saved expressions are retained until you delete them. Viewing and reviewing them in the app requires an active membership.

Request a refund

For purchases processed by Paddle, request a refund through Paddle’s buyer support. You can also contact contact@junichirojapanese.com for help with an app problem or locating a purchase. Include the purchase email, transaction reference and a short description of the issue; do not send card details.

Refund eligibility and applicable withdrawal rights follow Paddle’s Buyer Terms, its Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law. We do not impose an additional blanket “no refunds” rule. A refund request is reviewed before it is confirmed. An approved refund may end access to the refunded service.

When a refund may apply

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals and does not itself refund a payment already made. Paddle may consider discretionary refund requests made within 14 days of a transaction, taking account of the reason, usage and applicable terms. A request is not an automatic approval. Statutory withdrawal or refund rights may apply depending on your country. Persistent technical problems or material defects that prevent the described service from being provided may also qualify for a remedy. Contact us first about an app defect; if it cannot be resolved, you can contact Paddle. A single inaccurate AI answer does not automatically determine eligibility, and the AI notice does not exclude your statutory rights.

If something is wrong

Contact us promptly if you cannot access the purchased app, were charged unexpectedly, or believe the service is materially different from its description. We will investigate and coordinate with Paddle where needed. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
